We know it’s hard to believe because you cannot see or taste them. It’s also a fun and creative way to introduce vegetables like beets to kids who would never eat them ordinarily. ![]() Why not!? Most Americans do not meet daily requirements for veggie intake, so why not get a nutritional boost while you treat yourself? If you are going to eat the ice cream anyway, it can’t hurt to get those added vitamins and minerals from veggies. That said, our products are manufactured in a facility that also makes products with gluten, so our manufacturing facility is not entirely gluten free. ![]() Most of our flavors are gluten free, as shown by a GF symbol on the packaging. We want everyone to eat more veggies so we have been hard at work developing recipes for our vegan friends, too! This summer, we are introducing our first two: strawberry sorbet with hidden tomato and mango sorbet with hidden squash. But you know what? Jessica Levison has truly built a legacy for herself with Peak-a-Boo. Today, she employs 50 people and will be expanding into the Mexican market this coming year. By 2012, her business had grown so much that she was able to quit her day job and focus on Peak-a-Boo full time. She quickly realized that there was a demand for her product and decided to start selling it commercially. In 2007, when she was just 23 years old, Jessica Levison started making ice cream in her kitchen. For example one small scoop for one flavor two medium scoops for two flavors three large scoops for three flavors. Finally, when you’re considering how big your scoops should be for each flavor (especially if you want people to take home some), make sure that they’re proportional to the number of flavors. Chocolate chips are always good, but so are peanuts, caramel sauce, whipped cream, and marshmallows. Third, you need to think about your toppings.
